Old City Hall

This is a view Toronto's Old City Hall framed by the modern buildings of the financial district.
The Old City Hall was built in 1899, and is currently used as a provincial court house. In the 1960's a new city hall was built, and there were plans to demolish the old building, but good sense prevailed, and it was preserved.

  1. Wonderful painting- love the variety of shapes and colors in the buildings against the blue sky.

  2. For some reason, I am reminded of Chicago's old Watertower with the big new buildings all around it. Lovely work.
