I am an artist working in oils (for now). I make studies of the qualities light using various subjects that interest me, especially animals, landscapes and still lifes. Art is a lifetime journey.

Rural Ohio Barn
I recently drove to the town of Athens, Ohio to attend a fantastic Peggi Kroll Roberts workshop. I have such a love for the farming countryside, and it was a good thing that the road had very little traffic one early morning, as I screeched to sudden halts to photograph barns, and fields. Not a safe way to drive!!
Wow, I think I have some catching up to do! This is a lovely painting --you have the most beautiful brushstrokes, and the colors appear to be mixed right on the canvas. Really nice! Oh, and you finally got to a PKR workshop, how exciting!
